Sponsored Content Policy
We are not accepting paid placements yet. This policy describes how they will work when we do.
What we will sell
Two things: paid distribution of a company’s press release, and sponsored posts. Both are advertising. Neither is news.
How you can tell
- A label at the top says it is paid.
- The label names who paid and how much.
- Paid content lives only in Press Releases and Sponsored. It never appears in our news sections, our main RSS feed, or our news sitemap.
- Links inside paid content are marked
rel="sponsored". We sell readers, not search ranking. - In our feeds, paid items start with “[Press release]” or “[Sponsored]”.
What money does not buy
Paying us does not buy news coverage, a friendly story, or the removal of a critical one. We have one editor, and he also approves paid placements. Whether a company has paid us is never a reason to cover it or to leave it out.
What we will not publish
- Price predictions, or words like “guaranteed,” “risk-free,” or “undervalued.”
- Claims about backing, audits, or redemption with no public document behind them.
- Offers aimed at people who are not allowed to buy. If a token is limited to accredited or non-US buyers, the placement must say so, and we may block it in some countries.
- Anything we believe is false, misleading, or illegal where our readers live.
We can refuse or remove any placement. If we remove one for breaking these rules, we do not refund it.
Claims belong to the sponsor
The sponsor is responsible for the truth of what it says. We still read every placement before it runs, and we ask for documents.
To place a release
Not yet. When we open paid placements, this page will say how.
